"I could make Twilight brilliant. Think of my version of Twilight like something of a mix between Stoker and Rice with big, throbbing cocks. Delicious... and necessary." - Gregory Porter, on his Review of Twilight.

For the record, I have no clue who "Gregory Porter" is, but I found the review, and I'll be damned, I laughed at that line. xD I love it.

Also. I'll stop ranting about Twilight based things now.

ON TO BETTER STUFF.

Summer classes start sometime soon.
Wait. Shit. That's not better. Fuck. I have to take MATH THIS SUMMER. Ughhhh.

Today, I learned that the University of Alabama has a class known as

EN 311: Special Topics in Literature

Okay, cool. The textbooks/readings include "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte, "Maus: A Survivor's Tale" by Art Spiegelman, "Twilight" by Stephanie Meyer, "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Aus... Wait. What?
Let's look at that again. "Wuthering Heights", "Maus", "TWILIGHT".

T W I L I G H T AND to top it off? ALL. THREE. SEQUELS.

ARE TEXTBOOKS.

So it's either UA has officially declared Twishit and it's sequels to be on par with literary achievements such as "Pride and Prejudice" and "Wuthering Heights" (which, although I am not personally a big fan of either book...) and also comparing the series to the emotional story behind "Maus"...... Or... we can remember that the class is called "Special Topics in Literature", and we can hope that Twishit is the "What NOT to Do".

And that, is Evan's Rant of the Day, posted lovingly at work. Whoots.

In other news. Finals are over. I think I posted that earlier. But. I'm so excited about it. And. Today was move out day. So I get to move out and be home for approximately a week before moving BACK down here for summer classes!

So, Yui has a Twitter. And I've been looking at it lately. This is a tweet from him:

----

さて、友人(男)と同衾します♪というのも、ラーメン食べて帰宅したら、鍵がかかってて入れないからなんです。チャイム鳴らしても誰も起きないので仕方なく友人の家へきたのですw

----

Google Translate, in it's ever wrong glory, translated it to be this:

----

Well, my friend (male) and sharing the bed because the ♪, once home to eat noodles is to put what has been locked. I reluctantly came to the house of a friend because no one happens to ring the chime w

I love the random music note.

New music. Like. For realz.
Also. Donuts.
Speaking of Donuts. I totally was just at Krispy Kreme, and there register said that the previous transaction was a Charge of $1133.60. DAMN who buys that much in DONUTS. I guess it was for a school or something, that seems most logical, since 1 dozen costs like... less that $10. But for real. $1133.60. Damn.

In other news. I am totally procrastinating a reading response for my science class! But I'm about to head off into the woods, for said class. Whoooo! (I am seriously exciting. I enjoy woodsy things).

There was something else I was going to say, but alas, I forgot what it was... Hmm. Oh well. For now. Maybe I'll remember it later.

Oh yeah. Go Topeka "Kingdom Hearts: Sora Florida Meets Hannah Montana", and while you're at it, go check out a spoony bard.

I'm talking to a friend and she's complaining about a make believe guy, and I said we'll find him and then I said but he'd probably be gay and she said "That's not even fair. That's like... that's like, coming home to thanksgiving dinner, and finding out it's gay so you can't date it."

She continues "However, still coming to the realization that that turkey can go shopping with you and tell you if a dress makes your dress look fat without worring about getting slapped..."

I dare say that analogy was a work of genius.

I totally got to go canoeing today! For the first time EVARRRRR!

It was quite enjoyable. I did not even get wet (..the other students did, though. xD They fell in. One girls bag ended up floating downstream, so she jumped and floated down to get it. A guy pulled her out of the water xD)

~~EDIT~~

So, here's some more info on the trip. We started at an entry point along the highway. There were 5 canoes, and my canoe was the "tail" of the canoes, so me and the guy I was with (one of the water keepers) were to stay behind the rest of everyone to make sure no one got stuck or turned over. We traveled about 3 miles down stream. Twas fun. The water wasn't that deep except in some places, and the water keeper I was with taught me some interesting things about the river and the bluffs along the side. Oh, and this river is along many coal mines. I found chunks of coal that I decided to take home.

And as I promised myself, I'd make said stuff my first post! Whoooo!

So. As the two people who would read this know... Final Fantasy XIII came out today. And they know that because I wouldn't shut the hell up about it. :P
And here's some pictures from my phone, cause I felt like it.

I was GOING to use my camera. But the thing won't turn on. Something's wrong with it now. Bleh.

Oh, and the guides are numbered. Mine is number 179,297 out of 210,000.
